I made a Christmas card today using the Mojo Monday 254 sketch...
Here's my card! I used a kraft cardstock base and Echo Park Season's Greetings stack to make this card. The tree was cut from CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart then stamped with the coordinating stamp, the brads and ribbon are from my stash.

Birthday Wishes card
I made this birthday card for my friend Chris last month for her birthday! I used the Citrus stack from DCWV and this sketch from the ScrapbookSteals blog.
I used the CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart to cut the flower and I offset the layers to give it more dimension. I cut a tag using the matching die to the My Creative Time 'Teeny Tag Greetings" stamp set, such a fun set that I treated myself to recently! I tied the sentiment tag on using CTMH Hemp.

I finished off the inside using more of the same printed paper from the outside and a sentiment stamp from CTMH!

Another Christmas card
I made this one based on the Mojo Monday 251 sketch but didn't get it finished last week like I planned, better late then never!!
Here's the sketch...
And here's my card!
I used CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart for the scallop and circle, the paper is from Echo Park 'Season's Greetings' stack and the holly and sentiment stamp are CTMH stamps that coordinate with Art Philosophy.

Mojo Monday 252
I've started working on my Christmas cards last week, I definitely need to get going and we're having a Christmas card weekly challenge at Chatter Scene to inspire us!! I chose to use the Mojo Monday blog sketch for this week's card.
Here's the sketches - I opted to go with the square and made a 5x5 card...
Here's my card! Sorry for the poor pictures, its overcast here today so the lighting wasn't great! But if that means we may get some rain, I'm ok with that!!
The inside...
I used CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart for the snowflakes and ornament and the paper is from Echo Park 'Season's Greetings' stack.

Monday Card Madness #85
I haven't had time lately to get any of my cards for MCM done, but finally found some time the other night to make an anniversary card for my parents - I had made one a couple of weeks ago but decided I wanted to do a different one for them and will save the first one for someone else!
I used this sketch from ScrapbookSteals Monday Card Madness #85 - it was a fun sketch that I know I will be using again!
I used the Latte stack from DCWV to make this card, the flower I cut from CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart, buttons from my stash and twine from The Twinery. I couldn't find any Thickers in my stash that coordinated with the colors in the card, so I left off a sentiment from the front - if I have any time to buy some between now and when we give it to them, I will add Love on there...
The inside sentiment is from Stampin' Up.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!

This is another card based on the Scrapbook Steals sketch I posted last week - I left the sentiment off of this one until I knew what I was going to use it for!
The print paper is from the My Mind's Eye 'A Happy Heart' stack. I used buttons/brads from my stash and the hemp is from CTMH. I cut the scalloped half circle using my cricut and the CTMH Art Philosophy cart, the banners I cut by hand.
Here's the inside - again, I left it blank until I knew what occasion I planned to use it for!
Sorry I've been missing the last few days, I just finished a 5 night stretch at work - it went by so slowly, I felt every minute of those 13 hr nights! So I'm definitely glad to be home with my family for the next few days and able to get in my craft room again! Thanks for stopping by!

Kisses LO
This is the final LO for my Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #9 - Amethyst series - you saw it last night on my post with all my LOs, but I wanted to show it again so you could see all the details!
Here's the sketch...
And here's my LO! I used My Mind's Eye 'All Spice' for the print paper, the background cardstock is DCWV. Sorry for the pictures, I was working with no natural light at 10:45pm last night, so it was the best I could do.
I used Thickers for my title. I pop-dotted some of the squares and left some flat, to give the page some dimension.
The floral piece at the top as well as the oval under the title, were cut from CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart, the banner pieces and squares I cut by hand. The buttons and ribbon were from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by! Definitely stop by the Scrapbook Steals blog - Kristy always has amazing sketches to use, both for LOs and cards - there's never a shortage of inspiration from her!

Mobile LO
Another LO for the Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo Amethyst #6 series - I'm nearing the end finally and next month I hope to stay caught up!! This one is another favorite - mostly because of the subject ;-), its easy to forget how small they once were, but also because of the fun sketch I got to work with! Here it is...
The "remember these days" phrase was cut off one of the tags included with this collection - I thought it fit perfectly with my LO, since it was highlighting one of his milestones!
Thanks for stopping by!
And here's my LO! I used Echo Park Little Boy collection - another one of my favorites, such bright, bold colors - perfect for all the little boy LOs I have to do! I used CTMH Art Philosophy cart to make the chevron-ish (I know they aren't exactly chevrons but I liked them and they're close!) then the tag and banners I cut by hand.
I used Thickers and tiny alphas for my title - my husband told me the tiny alphas are too small but I like them! :-) In case you can't read it, it says "Today you are officially mobile"

The buttons are from my stash, the journaling square is another tag that I cut from one of the enclosed cardstock sheets from this collection - again, it worked perfectly for my LO!

Smiles LO
Here's the sketch...
And here's my LO! I used Thickers for my title, buttons from my stash and My Mind's Eye 'Away We Go' collection for the patterned paper (DCWV cardstock for the background paper) - I love this collection, the colors are so fun and worked perfectly with his red hair and the turquoise in his shirt! I used my Cricut and CTMH Art Philosophy cart to cut all the shapes I used on my LO.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you're having a great weekend!
Love card
I used the sketch from the Scrapbook Steals Monday Card Madness #81 - great sketch, the card came together quick and easy! The hardest part was picking out paper to use, which I finally decided on my new stack from My Mind's Eye 'A Happy Heart' stack - the colors in this are so pretty and I thought the flower petals looked like hearts, so it worked perfectly for the card I was making! The sentiment stamp is from CTMH, the buttons and brads from my stash, I used CTMH Art Philosophy to cut the scalloped half circle and the banners I cut by hand.
Here's the sketch...
And my card!
The inside sentiment is from Stampin' Up. Sorry for the poor lighting, it was cloudy this morning when I was taking the pictures and I couldn't get the inside picture to turn out very well, so I gave up!

Learning to color LO
I made this LO using the Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo - Amethyst #7 sketch b.
I used the Georgie Porgie collection from Piggy Tales for the paper, love these colors! I used Locker Talk cricut cartridge to cut the crayons and CTMH Art Philosophy to cut the striped background piece, the stamp on the journaling card is from CTMH and for the title I used Thickers and mini alphas.

Crafty Me blog hop
Hello and welcome to The Bug Bytes 'Crafty Me' blog hop! You should have arrived here from the very talented Chris' blog Get Inspired with Chatter Scene! If you just stopped by to visit me and want to start at the beginning of the hop, please go back to The Bug Bytes to start the hop and see all the fun projects of this talented group!!
Our theme for this blog hop is Crafty Me and/or green, using these sketches, the first for a card and the second for a LO!
Since I don't usually scrap about my crafty self ;-), I opted to make a card set instead! I need to build up my stash of generic note cards, so I figured this would be the perfect time since its a crafty me theme and my handmade cards definitely show the crafty me! :-)
Here are some cards I made using the card sketch and the color green!! I made a set of monogrammed cards! :-) I've been wanting to do it for awhile but haven't gotten around to it yet, so this was the perfect excuse to finally get it done! I used Kraft cardstock for the card base and my 6x6 Jillibean Soup 'Dutch Mustard Soup' stacks for the patterned paper - this stack is one of my favorites - I love the combo of colors in it! I cut the 'K' and scalloped circle from CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart and the ribbon is from my stash.
Next you are off Sheila's blog at She's A Sassy Lady!
But before you go, I have some blog candy to give away - a double set of CTMH stamps!
I will draw a winner on Wednesday, April 18. You must be a follower and leave a comment below to be eligible to win. *Due to shipping, only US addresses are eligible.*

Look at your baby blues LO
I'm back with a LO I made tonight for Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo - Amethyst #5, based on this sketch...
Here's my LO!
I used Piggy Tales '5 Little Ducks' collection for all the paper, the stars I cut from Baby Steps cricut cart and the scallops and banner pieces I cut from CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart, inking everything with my chalking ink. I used Thickers and tiny alphas for the title.
Part of this LO challenge was to make a journaling free LO - I have to say it was nice! I've really been forcing myself to journal these days, since its not something I used to do when I started scrapbooking. But there wasn't a lot to say about this picture - it was just a great close-up of my oldest son's face, perfectly showing his beautiful blue eyes and red hair - so it was perfect to use for this challenge!
Thanks for stopping by!

adventure LO
I made this LO using Echo Park 'A Walk in the Park' collection - I love this collection, the colors are perfect for boy LOs and they all work so well together!
I cut the different elements using my CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart and everything else was from Echo Park.
I made my LO based on the sketch below and will be entering it into the Mid Week Mojo challenge -Amethyst #4 on the Scrapbook Steals blog.

Birthday card
I made this card for my SILs birthday, I used my new DCWV Citrus and Citrus cardstock stacks that I got for Christmas, I love these colors! With this beautiful weather we've been having, I can't help but be in the mood for spring!
For some reason, the lighting on this card didn't come out quite as bright as it really is in person - I think taking the pictures at the time of day I did (4:30p), didn't help but hopefully you get the general idea.
The flower was cut from CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart - I cut it a couple of different times in different colors of cardstock to give it dimension and mimic the flowers in the paper, the ribbon and button are from my stash and the sentiment stamp is from My Pink Stamper 'Fabulous Phrases.'
The inside sentiment is from Stampin' Up 'Curvy Verses.'
I'm entering this into Krafty Girls Get Growing Challenge #3 - create a project using a handmade flower.
