**Go here for my 100 follower challenge/giveaway!!**
And I couldn't be more excited!! I'm volunteering to be a Teacher's Assistant for 4 hrs, I'm going to take a 3 hr class the night before about different scrapbooking techniques and a 1 hr class after my volunteer time about making 15 minute pages - I'm so behind on the boys' scrapbooks that I need this class! I get a 50% off coupon for a class for volunteering (among a bunch of other goodies!) so I'm hoping there is still a good card making class that I can take!
Here are the classes I'm going to take...
Thursday Night Technique Workshop
Sponsors: Creating Keepsakes magazine
Class Description: There are so many techniques when it comes to scrapbooking and you can never know too many. So this year we've pulled together an evening of techniques presented by a variety of exhibitors. You'll learn ways to stamp to make a background, create hidden journaling blocks, use creative paper layering, and so much more all while creating many 12" x 12" layouts. You won't want to miss this fun technique filled evening of learning!
15 Minute Pages
Sponsors: Creating Keepsakes magazine, Echo Park Paper Co, Bazzill Basics Paper, Fiskars, Stampin’ Up, Couture Cardstock, DMC, Doodlebug Designs, Thermo Web
Class Description: Creating 15-minute pages is a Walk in the Park with this new kit by Echo Park. Inspired by the 15-Minute Layout column in Creating Keepsakes magazine and in celebration of the magazine’s 15th year in publication, you’ll learn ways to maximize your time when creating scrapbook layouts. Plus, with the eye-catching results that are big on design and details, only you will know they took you a quick 15 minutes to create. And your creating doesn’t have to end with the class – you’ll receive a must-have paper line (includes paper, coordinating alphabet and cardstock stickers) with plenty of product left over to use when you get home. With a little organization and an amazing, complete kit to start with, 15 minute pages are a cinch!
Project: Create four 12” x 12”, 1-page layouts
