I made some "Dino-mite" cards for my son to hand out at his valentine's day party - they turned out adorable and perfect size for 3 yr olds - 3x3!
I stamped the inside then I plan to write my son's name as well as have him "sign" them!
I used Create A Critter for the dinosaur, CTMH Art Philosophy for the card base, 3 different My Pink Stamper stamps to make the front (you're and dino-mite were separate sentiments, so I taped off and made them one phrase!) and inside sentiments and a heart stamp with versa mark ink to stamp the heart because I realized that I didn't have even one piece of Valentine's day paper in my possession and I needed to get these done, so I improvised!! All the card stock I used was from my stash!
I'm adding some candy with these and into an envelope they'll go and ready for him to exchange at his party - I think mama is more excited about his first valentine's day party then he is!! :)

Have the Hoppy-Est Birthday!
I made this card for my niece's 3rd birthday, thought it was perfect for her spunky personality!
Instead of an envelope, I thought I would do something different and attach ribbon to the back and tie it to keep it closed, then she can untie it to read the inside! So it serves as his collar as well as an open/close on the card! :)
I used cardstock from my scrap pile and the ribbon I found in my stash - its hard to see in the picture but it has black, pink and green stripes, so it matched perfectly!
The frog is from Create A Critter cricut cart, the sentiment stamp is from My Pink Stamper 'Buggy Punnies' and the inside sentiment is from Hero Arts. I used my gypsy to weld two frogs together to form the card base then I cut another one in green to make the card front and another one in pink to make the inside pretty!

Grandparents day cards
They will be late, but they're done! :-) And of course the grandparents won't care, but it still drives me nuts when cards are late! I made these for the boys to give my parents, my MIL and my grandma!
All the card bases are 4x4, I cut the envelopes (not shown) using CTMH Art Philosophy cart. I used Create A Critter cart for the animals, My Pink Stamper 'punny' sets for the stamps, all the paper/cardstock and ribbon is from my stash. The twine on the squirrel card is from The Twinery. I used the Cuttlebug Seeing Spots embossing folder and my Cuttlebug to emboss the background cardstock on the skunk card and the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder to emboss the top of the acorn that the squirrel is holding. I didn't have Happy Grandparents day stamps, so I hand wrote it as well as a little note to each, then my son signed them.
Have a great weekend and Happy Grandparents Day to all the grandparents out there!

'Snappy Birthday' alligator card
I had my brother's birthday card made and ready to go for his birthday on Wednesday, until he told me about the trip his friends are taking him on for his 30th birthday, so I decided to make another one more tailored to his birthday this year - let's just say it represents a little hunting trip they are all going on next month...
I used Animal Kingdom for the alligator, Create a Critter for the birthday hat, and Gypsy Wanderings for the tag. The sentiment stamp is from My Pink Stamper 'More Punny-licious', I used the Tiny Mosaic Cuttlebug embossing folder to give the alligator his texture and I used 2 layers of ripped paper to make it look like he's in the water! All the paper was from my stash!
Knowing my brother, he'll get a kick out of this card! I guess you only turn 30 once, so he might as well do something he's never done before that I'm sure he will enjoy, being quite the country boy!
I'm entering this in My Pink Stamper's Pinkalicious blog hop challenge - it was to make a project showing your style! This card shows my style most of all because I made it specifically for my brother - I love making my cards completely personal to the person I'm giving it to - I think it makes them more special! Also, it has my favorite colors - green and blue! Green has always been my favorite color and now that I have 2 little boys, I love the green/blue combo! And lastly, I'm a sucker for pun cards, so My Pink Stamper stamps are perfect - my husband just rolls his eyes every time I make one, but I know he secretly loves them too! :-)
Have a great night, I'm off to bed! I had planned to be in bed by 10p tonight since I haven't gotten much sleep lately but once again, that didn't happen, so I'll shoot for 11:30p instead! :-)

Snappy Birthday!
I made this card for my brother's birthday next month, I struggle with making cards for any man but him especially and I agonized over what to make. Finally I threw my hands up and decided to go with cute/funny! I really liked the way it came out, its exactly like I pictured it in my head, so hopefully he likes it! :)
I used a DCWV card base, as well as the DCWV 'Baby Boy' stack and 'Neutrals' cardstock stack. I embossed the brown with my Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots, though its hard to see in the picture - I wanted it to look like sand! ;) I used my Cuttlebug again and D'vine Swirl for the frosting on the cupcake. I used Create A Critter for the crab and cupcake and Gypsy Wanderings for the sentiment tag that I stamped with My Pink Stamper 'More Punny-licious'.
I'm entering this in the Birthday Sundaes blog challenge to create a project using this photo as inspiration.
I'm also entering it in the Made It Myself Mondays weekly linking party at You Had Me At Craft!

Picnic LO
My dad's union has a picnic every summer and he loves for us to go with him so he can show off his grandkids to all his friends! Its a lot of fun and they always have a bunch of stuff for the kids to do and yummy food to boot! This was my oldest son's first time attending, so of course he was the highlight of the day! (I have the pictures, just haven't added them yet!) I also plan to add a journaling square in the green cardstock between the picnic basket and the picture on the bottom.
I used several different DCWV paper stacks to make this LO - 'All About Boys', 'Neutrals' cardstock stack, and 'Amber Autumn' cardstock stack, then a few pieces of cardstock from my stash. The grill, sun (I used my gelly roll 'starburst' pen to add sparkle to the sun) and picnic basket (I traced the weave with my SU marker to give it some dimension) were all from Everyday Paper Dolls, the pennants from Create A Critter (they were originally signs but I cut the pole off!) and the font from Lyrical Letters. I used Twine from The Twinery and Recollections star brads to hold the banners.
I am entering this LO into the Stack-a-holic Template challenge on DCWV Diary - it was to make a 2 page LO based on this sketch.

Flaunt It Fridays Challenge
I found a new blog, Flaunt It Fridays, that posts weekly challenges so I wanted to play along! I didn't have the required cartridge, Simply Charmed, so I used the fish from Create A Critter instead, she is cut at 2.5 inches and the bowl I cut at 5.5 inches after I welded 2 together using my Gypsy!

Thanks for stopping by!
I used my Cuttlebug on this card and 4 different embossing folders - Tiny Mosiac (fish), D'Vine Swirl (water), Forest Branches (seaweed), and Swiss Dots (sand). The sentiment stamp is from My Pink Stamper 'More Punny-licious' and the face stamp (eye part) is Peachy Keen 'Critter Faces Set A Medium.' The twine is from The Twinery.
Thanks for stopping by!

Another Easter card
My husband liked the card I made so much using this cracked egg/chick a couple of weeks ago (it was for someone else), that he asked that I make it again to give to someone in our family for Easter! So I made another one yesterday, for our boys to give to my parents at Easter dinner on Sunday!
I cut the chick/egg from Create A Critter at 3 inches and used a face stamp from Peachy Keen 'Critter Faces Set A Medium', coloring it in with Stampin Up 'Stampin Write' markers and 'Stampin Pastels'. The sentiment stamp is from My Pink Stamper 'Happiest Moments' set. The flower ribbon and paper were from my stash and the card base from DCWV. The bow was made with twine from The Twinery.I just love this chick and with the face, its even better - it just makes me smile! Hope it brightens your day as well!

Thinking of You Today!
I made this for a friend to let her know that I'm thinking about her. I'm entering it in the April Showers challenge at Get Inspired With Chatter Scene.
I used a DCWV card base and some paper from my stash. I cut the chick and umbrella from Create A Critter Cricut cartridge at 2.5 inches. The cloud and rain drops are also from Create A Critter, cut at 2 inches. The face stamp is from Peachy Keen 'Critter Faces Set A Medium' and I colored it in using Stampin Up 'Stampin Write' markers and 'Stampin Pastels'. The sentiment stamp is from My Pink Stamper 'Fabulous Phrases'. I used my Sizzix 'Winter' and Cuttlebug 'Divine Swirl' embossing folders with my Cuttlebug for the embossing on umbrella and cloud. The ribbon is from American Crafts.

'Whooooo Loves You?' card
I've had a lot of fun making Valentine's Day cards but I think I'm finally done!
This one my 3yr old helped me make for him and his brother to give to daddy for Valentines Day! He got to push cut for all the different cricut cuts and helped me with the glue dot roller to assemble the owl, then got bored and I was on my own to finish it! :-) Its my favorite one of all of them!

'Friends Fur-ever' card
Valentine's day card for a boy - its hard to figure out how to not make a valentine's day card "girly"!! So I used more oranges, yellows, and greens - with only subtle hints of pink - for the boy cards...
'Turtley Awesome' card
This card proved to be more difficult then I anticipated! Because the cut sizes are based on the height, the turtle works out differently then the other cuts, because he's so low to the ground! I didn't think much about it until I cut my turtle at 3.5 inches, like I did the other animals and he came out HUGE! So needless to say, once I figured that out - I cut him at 2.5 inches and he fit on my card perfectly! ;-)
'Hogs & Kisses' card
