Last month I made Christmas gift bags for the teachers at my son's preschool, he only has one main teacher but since there are only 7 teachers in the school, I decided to make one for each of them since they are all so nice!
I cut the gift bags from CTMH Art Philosophy as well as die cuts for the front of the bags and tags to match! I used a DCWV Christmas stack (the name escapes me right now...), Provo Craft 12x24 card stock, as well as various embossing folders to give them some texture. I tied the tags on with twine from The Twinery. The sentiment stamp is Pink by Design 'Scripted Year'.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Circle birthday card
I saw a card a long time ago that inspired my card today, I wish I knew who made it so I could give them proper credit! I've always loved it and wanted to make one but hadn't yet - I'm glad I did because I love how this turned out!
I punched out a bunch of 1 inch circles using a punch and my new Jillibean Soup 'Blossom Soup' stack, then I adhered them onto a DCWV card base - simple but fun!! I then used my Cricut and my CTMH 'Art Philosophy' cart to cut out the tag, used a couple of buttons to dress up the tag and then stamped a sentiment using Pink By Design 'Scripted Year'. Viola! A birthday card for my MIL!
I guess I forgot to take a picture of the inside because I can't find it anywhere (it was almost 2a and I was tired!) - but I used a strip of the floral paper on the bottom and then stamped a sentiment in the middle!
I'm entering this into Birthday Sundaes Challenge #38 - Birthday Card Challenge (create a birthday card and include a birthday sentiment on the front).
Have a great weekend!

Cake birthday card
I made this card for my SILs birthday next month, I won a Basic Grey paper pack from the Cricut 360 challenge blog awhile back and was dying to use it! I found this sketch in my saved sketches - I really like it and think I'll be using it a lot more!
I put a strip of the same patterned paper on the inside and stamped it with 2 sentiment stamps - the one on left is from SU and the one on the right is from Pink By Design.
Don't forget my friend Chris is trying to reach 500 followers to do a giveaway, she's having a magazine inspired challenge and a challenge to cut fabric with your cricut - stop by and find out how you can participate! She always has so many fun challenges on her blog, I need to get busy and do them!
Also, Candy at Candy's Craft Corner is celebrating her 100+ followers and having a giveaway, so stop by and see how you can win!
I love this print paper and wanted it to be the main part of the card and with all the paper being from the same stack, it all coordinated perfectly! I used a black card base from DCWV, black hemp from CTMH, birthday cake stamp from CTMH, the scalloped strips and scalloped circle were both cut from CTMH Art Philosophy. I inked the edges of everything with Tim Holtz 'Pumice Stone' distress ink.

For my final project, I made a card using the traditional red and green! :) The paper was from the DCWV stack 'Holiday Collection: The Christmas Stack' once again, the card stock is from my stash. The sentiment stamp is from Pink By Design 'Scripted Year' set. The wreath is from the Christmas Solutions Cricut cartridge and the card base was embossed using the Sizzix 'Snow Flowers' embossing folder and my Cuttlebug.
I used my Gelly Roll 'Stardust' pen to outline the bow - I love these pens, they write so smooth and add subtle sparkle without being overwhelming!

For my projects, I made 2 father's day cards - one for my dad and one for my husband from the boys and I!
My poor dad, who is the master of all things handy, has been helping my siblings and I with projects around our houses lately, so I wanted to make him a card with a recliner on it - in hopes that it will encourage him to ignore all of us and take it easy on father's day! ;-)
The Father's Day Seasonal Cricut cart had the perfect recliner on it!! I used the Dots, Stripes and Plaids stack from DCWV - its perfect for masculine cards! The sentiment stamp is from the 'Our Fathers' set from Pink by Design, ribbon from American Crafts and the jewels I found in my stash. I used the Cricut Essentials cart on my E2 for the tag as well as my Cuttlebug and the 'Argyle' embossing folder by Sizzix for the card base embossing, I used embossing powder and my heat gun to emboss the sentiment stamp and finally I inked the front of the card base as well as the edges.
Then for my card for my husband, I wanted to use a sports car - he's forevering talking about how much he wants a sports car but unfortunately it isn't in the financial cards for us right now. :-( So the best I can do is a sports car on his father's day card - its better then nothing, right? ;-) I found the sports car on the Father's Day Seasonal Cricut cart as well. I used paper from my stash for this card, sentiment stamp from 'Our Fathers' by Pink By Design, twine from The Twinery as well as my Cuttlebug and the 'Argyle embossing folder by Sizzix again.
I have a fun giveaway here on my blog - an i-rock by Imaginesce as well as some bling to go with it, which I plan to pick up this weekend so that part will be a surprise! :-) I have been using mine for a couple of months and I do love it to add bling to my projects! To be eligible to win, leave a comment on this post as well as become a follower of my blog! I will use the random number generator to draw a name on Thursday, June 23 and will announce it here on my blog!

'I Love You Mom' card
My mom loves to quilt (and is amazing at it!!) so when I saw this diecut on the Country Life cart, I knew I would make it into her mother's day card! She's always creating special quilts for us and our boys, we treasure them as I know how much hard work goes into it - they are wonderful heirlooms that we'll always have that she made especially for us!
I was having issues with my E2, this was the first project I made with it and they just weren't layering very well - I think it was user error because now that I've adjusted the paper settings, it seems to be fine! But I like the slightly "off" look, makes me think of an old quilt that's been shown some love and used a lot! :-)
I used a Martha Stewart punch, DCWV cardstock from the 'Amber Autumn' stack, American Crafts ribbon, Stampin Up ink to ink the edges and a sentiment stamp from Pink By Design 'Our Mothers' set.
I'm submitting this card for the Sew Easy challenge at Getting Cricky with K Andrew - she has challenges every other Sunday and such inspirational posts! Stop by her blog and say hi!

NSD Challenge #4
Its going to get a little out of order now, since I've skipped around with the challenges - I have several that are in various stages of planning/completion, so I'm posting what I have completed right now!
This challenge from My Pink Stamper's NSD Challenges was to create something with a mother's day theme! I made this card and I love it so much, I almost kept it for myself!! :-) I'm finding as I make more cards, the creative process is getting easier - I can think of an idea and create it without too much strain on my brain! ;-)
I bought several new DCWV stacks and I'm in love with them all! These papers are from 'The Green Stack' - they're so soft and pretty and the papers are made from 70% recycled paper!! The ric-rac is from American Crafts and the sentiment stamp is from 'Our Mothers' by Pink By Design.' I cut the flowers from the new Essentials Cricut cartridge that comes on the E2. Then I used the negative of the flowers under the buttons, I love the way it looks!
