Kisses LO

This is the final LO for my Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #9 - Amethyst series - you saw it last night on my post with all my LOs, but I wanted to show it again so you could see all the details!

Here's the sketch...

And here's my LO!  I used My Mind's Eye 'All Spice' for the print paper, the background cardstock is DCWV.  Sorry for the pictures, I was working with no natural light at 10:45pm last night, so it was the best I could do.

I used Thickers for my title.  I pop-dotted some of the squares and left some flat, to give the page some dimension.

The floral piece at the top as well as the oval under the title, were cut from CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart, the banner pieces and squares I cut by hand.  The buttons and ribbon were from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by!  Definitely stop by the Scrapbook Steals blog - Kristy always has amazing sketches to use, both for LOs and cards - there's never a shortage of inspiration from her!

Awesomely Amethyst

This was the first time I completed all 10 LOs for the Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo challenge - Amethyst and I'm SO excited!!  I've been so far behind on my boys' scrapbooks and this has really helped me to get some great pages done!!

Here they are all together...
Amethyst #1
Amethyst #2

Amethyst #3

Amethyst #4

Amethyst #5

Amethyst #6

Amethyst #7

Amethyst #8

Amethyst #9

Amethyst #10

When you complete all 10 LOs, you are entered to win an amazing amount of scrapbooking goodies, this time from My Mind's Eye, which is quickly becoming a favorite of mine as I acquire more and more of their paper!!  So my fingers are crossed that my name is picked for the scrapping goodness!!  :-)

Have a great week!

Big boy bike LO

I'm loving that I'm finally getting caught up on my oldest's scrapbook, though as the days go on - that also means that I'm getting more behind in my youngest's!  Seeing as how I haven't printed any pics of my youngest, guess it will have to wait a little longer!  But the good thing is, these Scrapbook Steals challenges are really lighting a fire under me and seeing as how they have them all the time, I hope it will continue so I can get both their books caught up sooner rather then later!

I used Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo #8 sketch for this one!  I'm trying to get caught up on the Amethyst series before the end of the month.  These long stretches at work threw me off but after doing a lot on my last group of days off, I'm almost done!

Here's the sketch...

Here's my LO!  I really enjoyed using this sketch, I've been wanting to try a hexagon pattern on a page and this challenged me to do so!  I used Piggy Tales Billy Goats Gruff collection for this one, love the colors in this collection!  The hexagon and star shapes I cut using Accent Essentials cart and the bikes were cut from Boys Will Be Boys cart.

I used thickers and mini alphas to make my title on a banner I cut by hand then I cut another banner to use for my journaling. The twine I used for the picture and to hang the stars and bikes is from The Twinery.

Mobile LO

Another LO for the Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo Amethyst #6 series - I'm nearing the end finally and next month I hope to stay caught up!!  This one is another favorite - mostly because of the subject ;-), its easy to forget how small they once were, but also because of the fun sketch I got to work with!  Here it is...

And here's my LO!  I used Echo Park Little Boy collection - another one of my favorites, such bright, bold colors - perfect for all the little boy LOs I have to do!  I used CTMH Art Philosophy cart to make the chevron-ish (I know they aren't exactly chevrons but I liked them and they're close!) then the tag and banners I cut by hand.

I used Thickers and tiny alphas for my title - my husband told me the tiny alphas are too small but I like them!  :-)  In case you can't read it, it says "Today you are officially mobile"

The "remember these days" phrase was cut off one of the tags included with this collection - I thought it fit perfectly with my LO, since it was highlighting one of his milestones!

The buttons are from my stash, the journaling square is another tag that I cut from one of the enclosed cardstock sheets from this collection - again, it worked perfectly for my LO!

Thanks for stopping by!

Smiles LO

Today I have a LO to share with you of my oldest and one of my favorite pictures of him!  I love this sketch that focuses on just one picture - its from Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo - Amethyst #10.

Here's the sketch...

And here's my LO!  I used Thickers for my title, buttons from my stash and My Mind's Eye 'Away We Go' collection for the patterned paper (DCWV cardstock for the background paper) - I love this collection, the colors are so fun and worked perfectly with his red hair and the turquoise in his shirt!  I used my Cricut and CTMH Art Philosophy cart to cut all the shapes I used on my LO.

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you're having a great weekend!

Learning to color LO

I made this LO using the Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo - Amethyst #7 sketch b.

I used the Georgie Porgie collection from Piggy Tales for the paper, love these colors!  I used Locker Talk cricut cartridge to cut the crayons and CTMH Art Philosophy to cut the striped background piece, the stamp on the journaling card is from CTMH and for the title I used Thickers and mini alphas.

Watching you grow LO

I made this LO of my early ultrasound pics from my oldest- I had a lot of scans with him and we loved getting to see him so often during my pregnancy, so I have a bunch of them to scrapbook!

I used the Billy Goats Gruff collection from Piggy Tales - since at this point in my pregnancy, I didn't know that he was a boy, so I wanted to reflect that in the colors of this page and keep it neutral - I saw this striped paper and knew it was perfect since it had red, turquoise, yellow and grey!

The two die cuts are from the 9 Months Lite cricut cart, this has the neatest cuts and I was so excited to use these - my hubby was impressed at how intricate the ultrasound picture cut was!

I used a combination of Thickers and mini alphas for the titles/sub-titles - its hard to see in the pic but I labeled the pics with how many weeks I was in each ultrasound!

Here's both pages side by side!

Look at your baby blues LO

I'm back with a LO I made tonight for Scrapbook Steals Mid Week Mojo - Amethyst #5, based on this sketch...
Here's my LO!

I used Piggy Tales '5 Little Ducks' collection for all the paper, the stars I cut from Baby Steps cricut cart and the scallops and banner pieces I cut from CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart, inking everything with my chalking ink.  I used Thickers and tiny alphas for the title.

Part of this LO challenge was to make a journaling free LO - I have to say it was nice!  I've really been forcing myself to journal these days, since its not something I used to do when I started scrapbooking.  But there wasn't a lot to say about this picture - it was just a great close-up of my oldest son's face, perfectly showing his beautiful blue eyes and red hair - so it was perfect to use for this challenge!

Thanks for stopping by!

adventure LO

I made this LO using Echo Park 'A Walk in the Park' collection - I love this collection, the colors are perfect for boy LOs and they all work so well together!

I cut the different elements using my CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart and everything else was from Echo Park.

I made my LO based on the sketch below and will be entering it into the Mid Week Mojo challenge -Amethyst #4 on the Scrapbook Steals blog.

Walking for babies LO

I made this LO using the 5 Little Ducks collection from Piggy Tales (paper and cardboard letters) - I wasn't sure about using flowers on a LO for my son but I really liked this paper and with it only showing on the sides, I figured it would work and since my mom, sister and I were also on there - I could get away with using the other flowers!  ;-)

The flowers are from Imaginesce - I layered them together, used brads as the flower centers and a Martha Stewart punch for the right side of the green paper.

I made this LO based on the March challenge sketch from Love Joy Paper.  I really enjoyed using this sketch!  My title ended up being huge due to the size of the letters but I really wanted to use them so I think it worked out ok even though it varied from the sketch!

I'm also entering this into the Just Elements! Challenge #1 at Get Inspired with Chatter Scene!  Chris read my mind with it, challenging us to not use our machines and use only the elements that we all have in our scrap rooms but tend to ignore because we all love to use our die cutting machines!  With reorganizing my scrap room lately, I'm finding more and more fun things I have to use but never do - such as the letters that matched this paper when I would normally cut letters with my Cricut as well as the flowers, which I haven't used in ages!  Thanks Chris for the fun challenge and getting me out of my comfort zone!!  :-)

Mama & me LO

I made a LO tonight based on the sketch below and will be entering it into the Mid Week Mojo challenge -Amethyst #3 on the Scrapbook Steals blog.  I do love this sketch, it was perfect for a favorite picture of mine of my oldest and I!

Here's the sketch...
And here's my LO!  Once again, sorry for the poor lighting, another late night scrapbook session, after working all weekend!  I was proud of myself, this LO came together pretty quickly for me!  :-)  Excuse the creepy distortion on my son's face - I don't like putting their pictures on public websites so I used the distortion so you could still (sort of) see the picture!
Some closeups...I used Piggy Tales once again, 'Tortoise and the Hare' collection this time - I just had paper for this one and had to use some cardstock from my stash, so I used CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart to cut the die cuts then I inked everything using my chalk inks.

I used thickers and mini alphas for the titles, The Twinery twine to string my banner and some brads from my stash to hold it on the page (it is pulled a little tight in this picture but it does droop down a bit more instead of being so straight across now that I fixed it - just didn't see it when I was taking pics).
The phrases are from the same mini alpha line then the 'moments'  one was a sticker I found in my stash.  I cut the flower 3 times, inked the edges and then offset them and curled the edges to make it look fuller and finished it with some bling using my iRock gem setter.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pumpkin patch LO

I made a LO tonight based on the sketch below and will be entering it into the Mid Week Mojo challenge -Amethyst #2 on the Scrapbook Steals blog.
Here is my LO - sorry for the poor lighting, I worked all weekend and didn't have time to get this done - so I just finished this (its 11pm) so I had no natural light to work with.
I used the Georgie Porgie collection from Piggy Tales - I think it may be my newest favorite product company!!  The paper is the perfect weight, cuts beautifully in my cricut, the colors are bold with great patterns - I LOVE it!!  The journaling card, the border strips and letters as well as all the paper are from that same collection!
I was flipping through my paper and saw the background paper and thought it would be perfect for a fall LO and I loved the blue addition to the oranges, browns and greens and it fit perfectly with my pictures since my son is wearing a blue shirt!
I used Simply Charmed Cricut cart to cut the pumpkins, using my Gypsy to hide the faces.

Thanks for stopping by!!
