A true friend...

I made this card for a friend's birthday, it was yesterday so I'm a little late but she's a busy mom too, so she understands!  ;-)

I used the Stamps of Life cupcake die as well as greetings4birthday and HappyBday2You stamp sets.  I used the Jillibean Soup 'Dutch Mustard Soup' stack for all the paper, the cardstock for the base, the ribbon and the button were all from my stash.

Happy Leap day!!

Easter bunny LO

I made this LO based on the sketch for the February challenge on Love Joy Paper - I love this sketch so much and look forward to using it on more LOs!

Here's the sketch...

And here's my take on it!

I used Simply Charmed and Doodlecharms cricut carts to make the easter symbols and the title is made using thickers.  I plan to add 'not so sure about the' above the title using mini alphas - I ordered them this morning thanks to free shipping at Joann's :-), so they will be here next week!

Some close-ups...

A walk with grandpa LO

Here's another LO I made using this sketch...

I LOVE this picture and I LOVE this LO - my oldest and my dad have always had the most special relationship - he was the first grandbaby and while my parents cherish all their grandkids (now they have 7 just in the last 4 yrs!), he was the only one for 7.5 months, so they formed a special bond in that time!!

I used Echo Park's 'A Boy's Life' collection for the paper, mini alphas and quote stickers , CTMH Art Philosphy cricut cart for the heart, circles and banner pieces, and thickers and mini alphas for the title.

Snuggles with daddy LO

I was up late scrapbooking last night and I felt like I got a lot done!  :-)  Here's another LO I made using DCWV 'Baby Boy Stack', Stampin' Up ribbon and CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart to cut my banner pieces.

Sorry for my messy desk - I was hard at work last night!  ;-)

I used thickers for my lettering and still need to pick up some more mini alphas to add the word 'with' to my title, the buttons were from my stash.

I'm entering this into the February Stack-a-holic Template Challenge on DCWV Diary blog - the sketch below was provided to use for my LO - I loved this sketch so much I made 2 LOs using it, I will post the second one tomorrow!

Happy Monday!

Off to dreamland LO

Some days I really love that I'm so far behind on my scrapbooking - it gives me the chance to look back on pictures from when my oldest was a baby and realize that he really was once that small!  *sniffle*

I think this is my new favorite collection...Fancy Pants 'To The Moon' collection - its adorable, with perfect boy colors, phrases, etc - love it!!  The chipboard letters, journaling page, and brads were all from the collection, as well as the paper!

I used CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart for the shapes/borders I needed - such a great versatile cart, another one of my favorites!!

I used the sketch below and will be entering it into the Mid Week Mojo challenge -Amethyst #1 on the Scrapbook Steals blog.  I wasn't able to pull off using 2x2 pictures so instead I combined them and did two 4x4 pics and a 4x6 pic to combine the bottom six 2x2 pics - I think it worked pretty well!

I've been wanting to participate in these scrapping challenges for awhile but something always gets in the way - I'm bound and determined to get the boys scrapbooks caught up, so these challenges will be helping me accomplish that!

Thanks for stopping by - have a great week!!

Sweet Bundle of Joy baby card

My brother and SIL had their baby boy yesterday and we are so excited to meet him, I needed a card to go with his gift and this is what I came up with!!

I used Echo Park's new line 'A Boy's Life' for the cardstock (LOVE this new line!), I cut the onesie from 9 Months cricut cart, then I used My Pink Stamper 'Fabulous Phrases' for the outside sentiment.  I wrapped The Twinery twine around the front to match the ducky on the onesie.

I used Cloud 9 'Simple Thoughts Boy' for the inside sentiment...

I used the baby foot from My Pink Stamper 'Sweet Baby' for the envelope...

Hope you have a great Tuesday!

'Did you know...' birthday card

I made this card for my mom's birthday yesterday - I recently re-discovered The Stamps of Life stamp company and fell in love!  I purchased their cupcake die set as well as the coordinating stamps, which is what I used for this card - it was cricut-less!  I used Echo Park 'Country Drive' 6x6 stack for all the paper in this card.

I tied my bow using my Bow Easy - I still need practice but I don't think it turned out too bad!

I added a strip of paper that I used on the cupcake frosting and the inside sentiment, again from The Stamps of Life and its done!

Today is my oldest's birthday, so we have a fun day of celebrating him planned after he gets out of preschool, so I wanted to sneak this post in before he wakes up!  Thanks for stopping by!

Valentine's day goodie bags

Happy Valentine's Day!!

I made these goodie bags for my son's valentine's day party today!  I used Simply Charmed for the conversation hearts - putting one of each on each side of the topper!  I used twine from The Twinery as well as cardstock from my stash.  I made 15 total but had already given some to his non-school friends before I took this picture!  Sweet and simple, full of goodies for his preschool class!

My camera wasn't cooperating when I was trying to get a close up picture of the toppers for some reason, thus the semi fuzzy picture below but you get the general idea!  ;-)

I'm entering these into Paper Playtime Challenge #67 - Cricut creations using hearts or a love theme.

Krafty Girls challenge blog is launching today with their first challenge and blog hop - stop by to check it out!  One of my very dear friends Chris of Get Inspired with Chatterscene made their design team and I'm SO happy for her - she's having a great giveaway on her first DT post today!  I can't wait to participate in their fun challenges!

Thanks for stopping by!  Enjoy this day of love!  :-)

Mini valentines

I made some "Dino-mite" cards for my son to hand out at his valentine's day party - they turned out adorable and perfect size for 3 yr olds - 3x3!

I stamped the inside then I plan to write my son's name as well as have him "sign" them!

I used Create A Critter for the dinosaur, CTMH Art Philosophy for the card base, 3 different My Pink Stamper stamps to make the front (you're and dino-mite were separate sentiments, so I taped off and made them one phrase!) and inside sentiments and a heart stamp with versa mark ink to stamp the heart because I realized that I didn't have even one piece of Valentine's day paper in my possession and I needed to get these done, so I improvised!!  All the card stock I used was from my stash!

I'm adding some candy with these and into an envelope they'll go and ready for him to exchange at his party - I think mama is more excited about his first valentine's day party then he is!!  :)

I'm entering this into the following challenges...
Fantabulous Cricut: Challenge Me Monday #96 - Valentiny cards (create a 3x3 card for Valentine's day)
My Craft Spot: Monday Challenge - anything goes (show us something wonderful you have made!)

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great Monday!
