Dinosaur thank you card

I'm still working on my son's birthday preparations, last night I started on his thank you cards!  I had an idea in my head and luckily, it didn't take me too long to figure out paper colors and get it made!

I love the way it turned out and so did he- he gets excited when he sees me working on anything 'dinosaur' because he knows its for his upcoming birthday!

I have all the pieces cut, so now I have to work on getting them all assembled!
Supplies:
dino stamp & striped paper - 'Dino Roar' collection by Imaginesce
thanks stamp - My Pink Stamper
Kraft cardstock - The Paper Company
cardstock - DCWV
adhesive - ATG gun, SU Stampin' Dimensionals

Next I have his banner to work on...it should be interesting as I've never made a banner before!

'Whooooo Loves You?' card

I've had a lot of fun making Valentine's Day cards but I think I'm finally done!

This one my 3yr old helped me make for him and his brother to give to daddy for Valentines Day!  He got to push cut for all the different cricut cuts and helped me with the glue dot roller to assemble the owl, then got bored and I was on my own to finish it!  :-)  Its my favorite one of all of them!

'Friends Fur-ever' card

Valentine's day card for a boy - its hard to figure out how to not make a valentine's day card "girly"!! So I used more oranges, yellows, and greens - with only subtle hints of pink - for the boy cards...

'To My Beary Best Friend' card

'Turtley Awesome' card

This card proved to be more difficult then I anticipated!  Because the cut sizes are based on the height, the turtle works out differently then the other cuts, because he's so low to the ground!  I didn't think much about it until I cut my turtle at 3.5 inches, like I did the other animals and he came out HUGE!  So needless to say, once I figured that out - I cut him at 2.5 inches and he fit on my card perfectly!  ;-)

'You're the cat's meow!" card

I've been working hard to finish up all the Valentines Day cards for the boys to give to their cousins and friends - its been so fun!  With having 2 boys, I rarely ever get to use pink/red/purple colors in their scrapbooks - so its been great getting to use them making these cards!

So below you will see all the fun cards I've been making!

Ribbon!!

So my ribbon stash has majorly been lacking a variety of colors and I've been watching for a good deal to get it built up.  One of my weaknesses is Scrapbooking Steals and their daily deals - I don't buy for the heck of it but if they have something I need then I have a hard time resisting!

Well on Tuesday, they had ribbon galore, so I couldn't pass it up, especially since I had my spending cash from last week's paycheck!  :-)  And compared to what I've seen in the store - it was a great deal, so that made it even better!  And it only took 2 days to get here!!

Now I have just about any color I could need and they are perfect for cards or scrapbook pages!  Next to just figure out storage for all of it...

'With Sympathy' card

My heart was very heavy as I made this card- one of my dear friends lost her father this week and my heart breaks for her and her family!  I wasn't fortunate enough to ever meet her father but from everything I've heard about him, the world lost a wonderful person!

Captain Heartbreak

Our 2yr old is at mom and dad's for a couple of days and the baby took a nice, long (6 hrs!) nap yesterday afternoon, so I was able to steal some time in my scrap room!  I got the following LO and the cards below done, as well as starting to organize my mess!

This LO is of our oldest's first Valentine's day!

Dinosaur birthday!

Our 2 yr old loves dinosaurs right now, so he's very excited to have a dinosaur themed 3rd birthday party!  I started working last night on his invitations - I love the way they turned out!!
Next I will be working on his thank you notes as well as his 'Happy Birthday' banner!  I've never made a banner with my cricut before, so I'm anxious to try it out!
