Christmas In July blog hop - Day 2!
Welcome and thank you for joining us for Day 2 of our Christmas in July Blog Hop! You should have arrived here from Chris' blog @ Get Inspired With Chatterscene. If you just happened to stumble upon this hop, please be sure to go back to Elaine's blog @ Expressions By Elaine so you don't miss any of the wonderful projects we have to share!
Be sure to visit & follow all the blogs to be entered for the Grand Prize, after you have stopped at all the blogs be sure to go back to the beginning blog Expressions By Elaine and leave your name in the inlinkz.
I used my Gypsy and Gypsy Wanderings Cricut cartridge again for this card and these colors are even more unconventional and I think its too much for me - I'm not digging the pink but I had that pink/blue snowflake paper in my DCWV stack 'Holiday Collection: The Christmas Stack' that I wanted to use, so I figured I'd try it. I've never done the crinkled ribbon border before and its not working out very well because it keeps coming off, so I need to see if there's a better way to do it so I can redo that part but it works for now! :)
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop! Here's the lineup again...

I love the color choices and I need to learn how to do the ribbon technique you used. I have been overlooking the cuts on the Gypsy Wanderings for the holidays, thanks for reminding me that there are great cuts on there too!

I think the pink and blue is a great combo. Did you try red line tape to hold the ribbon? That stuff is pretty strong.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the color combo! I want to try this for some of my Christmas cards now!!
